"What the caterpillar calls the end of life, wise men call a butterfly."

This is going too far!

You know how you're following some truck on the highway and you see that sign that says something like "flammable" or "hazardous"? You can see them on railroad cars too that are carrying toxic chemicals.

If that truck jack-knifes or that train derails, you know to stay way clear of the area. Response teams like the police and firefighters know that too.

But the paranoia of the Bush cabal knows no bounds, and soon those signs may be a thing of the past. Fear that terrorists might use the sign for target practice is driving critical first-response information underground.

To Shrub and his 'homeland security' brownshirts, less information for the public is more power for them to do whatever they want. No signs means you'll never know that radioactive waste is being trucked through your backyard. No signs means you'll be clueless to bio-hazards parked in your frontyard. That's the kind of America your beloved leader is trying to build. Will you let him? link
