According to the western press, the US military in its most recent 'shock and awe' campaign has destroyed fifteen houses in and around Tikrit, which it said were used by guerrillas. Sounds a lot like the Israeli campaign that has destroyed thousands of Palestinian homes over the years. Think about how spectacularly unsuccessful that has been! So the US military blindly repeats the failures of others...

The Pentagon says it's destroying the homes to "deny sanctuary" to evil men - get real! those evil men could commandeer any home they wanted to in vast parts of Iraq. So, is the military going to destroy all the homes so they have no place to go? (Sorry sir, we had to destroy the village to save it.)
