If I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roaring Friday night.

Let's never interfere overseas again and bring all our troops home! Wonderful, isn't it; it's that kind of neo-isolationism that allows the 'good-ole-boys' to get a foothold in the first place. A careful look at our past interference does, however, make one wonder whether we've created some of the monsters like Bin Laden that we now face.

Let's stop tourists from coming to the US! Great idea; the travel and tourism trade in 2001 was a $600 billion industry, representing a little over 5 percent of our GDP and employing over 17 million Americans. Let's throw all those Americans out of work and forget about that insignificant segment of our economy.

We don't need immigration legal or illegal. Let's let our crops rot in the fields and turn our backs on the American Heritage that brought our forefathers to this nation. We're here now - long lost cousins need not
apply.

Let's make it prohibitively expensive for students and scholars to get visas to come to this country. Let's make sure that they can't come here, get or provide a good education, and then go back to their countries to assume leadership roles in government and business with a pro-American background. We don't need good will ambassadors to other countries. We're going it alone after all.

Why not let the oil companies continue to make us dependant on their products and turn a blind eye to whatever environmental hazards might be lurking in the production and use of fossil fuels. It's not like we can't wear gas masks and sit idly by while the ice caps melt. We don't need those thousands of miles of coastland anyway.

Yeah, we're big, we're bad, and if you don't like it, that's just your tough luck. Love your neighbor as yourself has no meaning to us anymore.
